Welcome to Doonside

Doonside is a spacious self catering holiday home set on the banks of the River Doon in the picturesque Doonfoot area of Ayr in south west Scotland. With the Ayrshire coastline on its doorstep, three golf courses within easy reach and the attractions of Burns Country to explore nearby, Doonside is the ideal base for a memorable Ayrshire holiday.

We make every effort to meet our guests in person to give them a tour of the property and answer any questions they may have. 

Many of the necessities you will use during your stay are provided by us free of charge, including washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, toilet paper, kitchen roll, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, fresh milk and bread. If you are staying for 7 nights or longer, we also provide a complimentary Welcome Pack, filled with some delicious locally produced treats!
